I don't know if anyone's written about this yet but Glasgow's West End Festival came to an end last week - it's been running for 13 years now and is a week of culture and entertainment centered around the city's famous west end. There are a two aspects of it I'd like to write about if there's an interest...
1) Bolshie's 'Catwalk on the Sidewalk': a fashion show staged by fairtrade fashion shop Bolshie.
2) Samba Ya Bamba's street performance and the Stravaigin barbeque (both part of the Gibson Street Gala)
I'd also like to write some kind of feature on Glasgow's vintage shopping scene - there are some amazing finds to be had in the small lanes of the west end.
Just firing ideas at you here, let me know what, if anything, you want! |

| Unfortunately we do not have anything on the Glasgow's West End Festival - would you be able to a piece? Also a vintage feature would be fab, 400 wrds would be great! |
