Hi
I live round the Crystal Palace area and would love to contribute features/articles/reviews about the bars, gigs, park events, and clothes shops. It's a really vibrant and quite artistic area. I didn't realise this until I moved here!
I love some of the venues I've been able to visit thanks to seeing my boyfriend's band perform. There are some classy establishments to be stumbled upon - ones that aren't that obvious.
Let me know if you'd like any words and pictures because I'd be thrilled to get involved.

hi SylvieGirl
welcome to the board.
what we're really after here at myvillage is LOCAL content from the people in the know i.e. you :)
with your band/music interests how about putting a local going out guide together for us. or perhaps some short interviews with local bands who are little heard of yet?
plus, we're always on the look out for local reviews, which can be posted live to the relevant site.
keep an eye on our 'articles wanted section' for free tix and promotional parties, or alternatively post your ideas to the 'make a suggestion' area.
best wishes and look forward to hearing from you.

Hi
A going-out guide would be great fun to do. How long would you like this to be?
Also, I know a local band that's looking for a new singer - would it be interesting to cover that process (not in a horrible X Factor way...yuk!) and turn it into an article? It could cover all the London and local ways of advertising for a singer.

hi there
300-500 words for the going out guide.
re: looking for a singer - sounds good - about 500 words for this would be good.
pix would be helpeful as well, camera phone quality is fine.
best wishes
