We're slowly but surely making myvillage bigger and better. Which means more new sites in your areas.
We need new articles from the people who know a place best - the top bars, best places to eat, a little local history, some insider info.
Can you help us to kick start the following sites?
Dundee
East Kilbride
Berwick-upon-Tweed
Perth
Dunfermline
Dumfries
Nairn
Fraserburgh
Oban
Kirkwall & Orkneys
Portree & Inner Hebrides
Stornoway & Outer Hebrides
Lerwick & Shetlands |

Hey I am a Berwick-upon-Tweed resident, and would be more than happy to help post news about the area.
Probably going to sound thick here but just wondering where i actually put the articles about the area on the forums?????
Matt Robbo
p.s Just a little thing, Berwick-upon-Tweed is in England |

Hello there,
Although I am now based in London I come from Fife (just North of Edinburgh) and would be happy to pull together the top places to visit should you head to the East coast.
Fife isn't on your list (although Dunfermline is in Fife), but it's a stones throw away from the capital and well worth a visit - especially to the East Neuk.
Let me know what you think.

Matt; I know, I know...I realised that as soon as I posted it, but you found us anyway! Can you do us a top five of Berwick's finest places to drink? Around 500-750 words? If you have any other ideas just let me know.
When done you should post to the Finished Articles area but feel free to email me if you prefer.
Leigh, as a Fife expert would you say that Fife or Dunfermline is somewhere more likely to get people reading? Eventually we hope to cover all areas but we want to go for the best and biggest local areas - though the two don't go hand in hand. I'm afraid I'm clueless when it comes to Scotland so advice appreciated if you think you can give it! |

Hi Laura :D
I am a habitual socialite of Dunfermline (and surrounding areas like Kirkcaldy - another main big town) and could do a write-up on the fabby-dozy bars and eateries that are most popular with the 'common people.'
Let me know what you think.
Regards  |

Hi Starry, that sounds fabulous to me.
How about a good old fashioned top five bars (about 500 words-ish) and a guide to eating in Dunfermline (500-750)? |

Hey
I wondered if I could possibly add St Andrews and maybe Fife in general to the list? I'm a Fifer myself and know St Andrews very well and recently got some stuff published in 'The Scotsman' on best places for a night out in Fife. St Andrews is a very lively place especially right now as the Womens' Golf championship is taking place right now. Thanks.

Hi Laura, hopefully (she says fingers tightly crossed, with one evil eye on the technical bods) we'll be nationwide by the end of the year so anything you can do for us on St Andrews or Fife sounds great to me - and in the meantime we can publish you on the Edinburgh site.
If you're up for it then 500 word guides on the best local places would be great - pick your angle whether it's bars, restaurants, shopping, hidden gems etc etc...x |
