| Hi Joanne, know much about the bar scene in Hull? If so how about a 500 word guide to going out? Or if you're more foodie a restaurant guide...of course if you have any other ideas instead let me know x |

Joanne, both is even better ;) 500 words each and please list contact details (address, tel, web) for any venues you mention.
Thanks and look forward to reading them soon x |

Hi Russ, do you reckon you can do us a bars write up for Cambridge? About 500 words on the best places to booze...can make it a top five if you like but remember to give us contact details for any venues.
Otherwise, as some others have done for various places you could give us the same amount of words on hidden gems (shops, bars, restaurants, days out that the average visitor might miss) or a restaurants guide....whatever takes your fancy really! |

Hi both, as these are new sites which are not yet up and running we don't need the work urgently but if you can get them over to me in the next couple of weeks that would be fabulous.
Thanks x |

Hi!
I've just registered today, and I can definitely write about Cambridge. I've been living here for three years now and have just graduated, so I know the place quite well!Hope to hear from you soon,
Kate |

Hi,
I'm new to the website and was wondering if you still needed anything about Hull. I'm fairly new to the area but I'm prepared to do a lot of research, and I'm always up for a day/night out!

Hi Kate, I've actually chucked a couple of Cambs suggestions your way back on Introduce Yourself...http://myvillage.informe.com/viewtopic.php?t=404. Or of course feel free to give me some thoughts - after all you live in Cambridge, I've got lost on my way off the M11 and popped in to burger king ;)
Take a look and see what you think.
Lisa, I've also given you a couple of ideas on Introduce Yourself but if you're feeling the love for Hull why not give us a newbie's guide to the area? Your first impressions, why it's great...and not so great, where you'd recommend to another first timer? Or feel free to take a gander through this thread and look at what else people are writing about and nick some ideas! |

| Hi, I've written a 500 word intro to Guildford. Let me know what else you need - I noticed that someone else wanted to write something on Guildford. I could write a shopping guide for those hidden away places, etc. Karen |

Hi Karen, send that 500 word intro to finished articles!
If I'm not mistaken someone has already offered a shopping guide to Guilf but how about giving us something more specific...perhaps 500 words on where to buy for specific occasions: where to go when you're skint, where to buy that special date dress, where to get the perfect jeans (there used to be somewhere great on Castle St) etc, etc...
What do you think? |

I know there's not much Cornwall-wise at the moment but I'd love to do Truro.
Cool bars, hidden gems of shopping and eating and some arts stuff as you've outlined for the others? There are a lot of tourist attractions in the area too, maybe something on the good ones and beautiful places rather than the tacky/family ones? |

Hi Surfer, good to hear from you again.
Something taking a sort of tourist attractions for the locals angle would be excellent. Whether it's things that you avoid because it's crawling with tourists but really is unmissable (maybe with a tip as to when to go) or things that are better than the tourist haunts but are always missed off the map...
500 words? x |
