Hi
Here is my completed 300-word promo on FaCshion. I hope it is OK.
Taking place at fittingly stylish venue the Old Truman Brewery on London's Brick Lane, FaCshion is a trade show that aims to bring together fashion designers and distributors, retail buyers, and general consumers all under the one productive and lucrative roof. Not only will there be exhibitors presenting their wares but attendees will also be treated to four, yes four, catwalk shows. Get yourself a taste of the fashion high-life!
The exhibits cover a wide range from couture to customised fashion, knitwear, lingerie, and an accessories range that includes handbags, hats, jewellery and footwear. Everything you could possibly need as a hungry shopper or an eagle-eyed buyer. And for the green-minded fashion lover, there will be recycled, eco-friendly and fair trade collections. All good in the increasingly eco-conscious world.
Because FaCshion has removed ‘the financial barriers associated with the traditional trade show’, it enables more designers to exhibit, resulting in a more egalitarian spread of fashion’s movers and shakers. There is something for everyone attending: buyers will be able to source new collections from designers that don’t usually have the budget to exhibit at traditional trade shows, and everyday shoppers can buy new stuff from emerging designers before it hits the high street. So if you fancy being a style inspiration rather than a dedicated follower of fashion, get on down to FaCshion.
There’ll be a buzz, that’s for sure. With 50 exhibitors and four catwalk shows over two days, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved. Coinciding with London Fashion Week 2008, this event hopes to attract thousands of stylish shoppers and key industry members as well as international press attention. High-profile platform indeed so, in this case, don’t be fashionably late.
Dates and times for the diary:

13:30–18:00
Sunday 14 September 2008

Thank you very much indeed - I really enjoyed writing it!
I'm all happy now!
I haven't got a press pass so that would be great, thank you. I got emailed about providing ID to prove I am press but I didn't have that.
It said:
Press Invitations
If you have requested an invitation for the press preview, please note that invitations are reserved strictly for press only. A business card and ID will be required to validate this invitation upon arrival at the Champagne Brunch.
Best wishes
