Do you want to have your say on local bars, restaurants and clubs?
Here's your chance...if there's a place near you that deserves a mention, somewhere that no-one knows about but should or a place that you just want to talk about we'll publish your review on our site.
Check www.myvillage.com to see which areas we cover or write for one of our newest areas (as listed in the stickies on Articles Wanted) - from 100-250 words, no need to get the go ahead just post 'em back and we'll give you a link.
And if you've got your eye on guestlist for a certain clubnight feel free to wave your MyVillage contributor status ;) |

Hi Joanne, you're more than welcome to check out the local music scene and local bands and we're more than happy to put them up on the Hull site when it's up and running, thanks!
-if you know of a local band that deserves a mention you can interview or profile them
-you can write reviews on local bars, pubs or venues, or on your favourite night at a certain place. As above no need to get the go ahead for this one, just go for it!
-or you might want to give us a rundown on the best places for...(indie/rock/dancing/cocktails/bands/pulling etc etc)
Or, as ever, you can hit me with an idea.
Only one thing - with the new areas gig reviews are just going to be too time sensitive as the sites won't go live until later in the year. Also if you speak to musicians do let them know that their coverage won't be immediate!
Look forward to hearing more about the wonders of Hull! x |

| Urban deli in sheff def needs a mention if you havent already done. Im more than happy to go down again and eat and drink and do a review, would this be good? |

Hi Laura,
There are some excellent pub's around the Chester Area that are worthly of an article. Would this be something you are interested in? Also, do you accept photographs to accompany articles?

Hi Charley, we currently don't have a Chester site but we'll have one up and running by the end of the year - with that in mind we'd love to have some articles on your area. Perhaps you could give us a top five bars in Chester?
As for photographs we're happy to publish alongside and credit the photographer but they need to be able to fit in to the format of our pages (ie: each article has one 271x162 pixel image to accompany it) x |

Hi, was wondering if i could do a little review of The Wardrobe Club/bar/restaurant in Leeds city centre for this Friday (12th).
Norman Jay is playing. the music will be funky, Brazilian, samba like.

Dear Laura!
I found your message very appealing as there is a small, cosy Indian restaurant just 2 minutes from my house in Southwark (Camberwell Road) that deserves some attention.
It is not a very busy place, which is a big shame and surprise because the food is excellent and cheap, plus I always find the atmosphere so calming.
I could go eat out there again and write a review, would you like that?
